It's 1:46 in the a.m. and if you went to the Palladium party I'm really sorry first and foremost. The performers gave their all, but in the end, my records were attempted stolen, Blue and I were called every name in the book and the sixteen people who didn't like the music made mayhem backstage.However, I received more than a dozen compliments regarding the house music played and have to say that I am very grateful (and I know Blue is too!) for the support.
The fact remains that the majority of the people who go out on major "party" nights are amatuer party-ers and still think that the "Humpty Dance" is the best song ever.
Mad love to Kamala and her band of burner performers for pulling off some amazing visuals - they continue to impress me.
And my sincerest apologies for all who came out for Blue and myself only to be forced to listen to ACDC and Snoop Dog.
Please know that we'll be playing Spundae, the largest house-community gathering of the week, Saturday, at Club Circus and rest assured that the shiny-shirts and idiots who love their hip-hop will be no where in sight.
